Emma and her class were going to the zoo.
She was very happy.
"What animals will we see today?" she asked her best friend, Jake.
They got on the school bus.
The teacher said, "Stay with your buddy and have fun!"
The bus stopped, and they walked inside the zoo.
The first animals they saw were the monkeys.
"Look at them swing!" said Emma.
The monkeys were jumping from tree to tree.
One monkey was eating a banana.
Next, they went to see the lions.
"Wow! They are so big!" said Jake.
The lions were resting under a tree.
One lion stood up and roared. "That was loud!" said Emma.
After that, they saw elephants, giraffes, and penguins.
Emma's favorite was the giraffe.
"It has such a long neck!" she said.
At lunchtime, they sat on benches and ate their food.
"This is the best trip ever!" said Jake.
The teacher took a picture of the whole class. "Say cheese!" she said.
